Wabash County AACTION is the Local Coordinating Council for the Governor’s Commission for a Drug Free Indiana. The Governor’s Commission is a division of the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute which was created to reduce the incidence and prevalence of substance abuse, addictions, and other behavioral health problems among adults and children in Indiana. The mission of our Local Coordinating Council is to identify our communities specific needs through the comprehensive plan.

The North Manchester Police Department and Manchester College, thanks in part to grants from Wabash County AACTION, recently were awarded the best project/program for 2007 by the Regional Advisory Board for Governor's Commission of Drug-Free Indiana.
